These are GREAT playing instruments, the culmination of 10 years of playing and building CF trombones. These horns have a rich core and beautiful sound as well as all the other great attributes of carbon fiber. The new design has a larger throat in the middle of the bell flare, a larger bore exit on the single radious tuning slide and a slightly “taller” bell. The finish on the bell is polished epoxy with no clearcoat. The result is a “bigger” version of the Lemondrop and JJ that has less resistance and more dynamic range.
